CertBase for Simpro
Connect CertBase to Simpro so jobs created in Simpro appear in CertBase as tests, and completed PAT certificates are attached to the Simpro job automatically.
How it works
1. Jobs arrive as tests
Pending Simpro jobs are imported as pre-filled CertBase tests, with the customer and site address already in place.
2. Engineers can link any job
An engineer can look up a Simpro job from the test and link the two, so the certificate always goes to the right job.
3. The certificate goes back on the job
When a PAT test is complete, the signed PDF certificate is attached to the linked Simpro job. Re-issue it and the old copy is replaced, not duplicated.
4. The outcome on the job, if you want it
You can choose to write the test outcome onto the job. It goes in its own section below the works requested, and the office's description is never overwritten.
5. Remedial quotes for failures
Failed items can raise a variation quote linked to the job, describing what failed, with the certificate attached. It is created unpriced, so your own rates are applied by whoever prices quotes.
Frequently asked questions
- Which certificates are filed back to Simpro?
- PAT test certificates. Jobs for any discipline can be imported and linked; filing the finished certificate back onto the Simpro job is currently available for PAT testing.
- Will CertBase change our existing Simpro jobs?
- Only jobs a CertBase test is linked to, and only by adding the certificate, an optional outcome block beneath the works requested, and an optional remedial quote. It never deletes anything or overwrites the job description.
- How do we connect Simpro?
- An admin connects your Simpro build from Settings → Integrations in CertBase. Get in touch if you would like help setting it up.
